"A bodybuilder? No way! I'm too shy, I know nothing about it, and it looks painful anyway." This is what I thought on at the start of my bodybuilding career. Doubtful, yes, but I had the courage to give it a try. The next day, I became a sponge, ready to receive knowledge, with a spark of confidence and and new appreciation for the exhilaration of a great workout. Before I knew it, I was a bodybuilding champion! Looking back, it all seems to have happened so quickly, but in reality, that time was well-spent, building the strength of my mind and heart just as much or more than my body.
